Richard B. Parker

Richard B. Parker founded PRKR LAW, P.A. to protect and defend the rights of anyone facing criminal prosecution. Mr. Parker is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and Emory University. During law school, Mr. Parker interned for Alexander F. Fox, P.A., a premier criminal defense firm in Coral Gables, where he learned the ropes from one of Miami’s elite criminal defense attorneys, Alex Fox.

Upon graduation, Mr. Parker worked as a Public Defender in Polk County where he earned his stripes as a formidable trial attorney. Mr. Parker was awarded the prestigious Trial Dog award as the top trial attorney in the Polk County office. In 2017, Mr. Parker transferred to the Orange County Public Defender’s Office where he continued to excel as a criminal trial attorney. In 2018, Mr. Parker was one of the youngest lawyers ever to be recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified Criminal Trial Specialist. 

In 2022, Mr. Parker accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney in Seminole County. While working as an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Parker gained invaluable experience preparing and prosecuting criminal cases through trial. During his time at the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Parker was the only Board-Certified Criminal Trial prosecutor in Seminole County. 

Mr. Parker is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Mr. Parker has unparalleled courtroom experience on both sides of the aisle litigating all types of criminal cases. Mr. Parker will put his experience to work for you to ensure that you receive the best possible outcome in your case.
